Valerie on Jun 14, 2014What a wonderful post! And the best part of it was the donation of the mosquito nets - I am sure that not many Americans are aware of the enormous toll this disease still takes in some parts of Africa. In South Africa our biggest killer is tuberculosis, it has become multi-drug resistant and is becoming more and more difficult to control, especially when large doses of medication are required over a long period of time. And your comment about Hometalk - I, too, am not a blogger (or even on Facebook!!!) so that has become my favorite way of sharing posts and finding out about the various inspiring projects that people are making.
