How can I maintain these doors to look more clean?
-
GrandmasHouseDIY on Feb 26, 2016Over time the oils from our skin, off of our hands, will eventually eat through just about any finish you can put on a door, which is why yours is starting to look "powdery" in some places. I would just put a coat or two of poly acrylic on all of your doors, that should protect them and make them easier to clean as well as restore the look of the finish for years to come. :)Helpful Reply

VivienB on Feb 27, 2016I would clean it with Murphy's oil soap, let it dry, and then use Scott's Liquid Gold. It really renews wood surfaces.Helpful Reply
