A friend brought over some old windows knowing that I would do something fun with them. The outcome? This fun large garden cupola over my septic tank! The roof is plastic ceiling tiles.

Kelly S, that saying doesn't work in our case! The reason for this flower bed came because the grass would not stay green over the septic tank. I think it sucked the moisture out of it, so i did some research and found that I could plant shallow rooted plants over it...then came the cupola.
Terry-I liked your idea so much I am putting one over our well head in the back yard. I just cannot decide what to put inside it! Love your statute, but I don't have one - YET. LOL. Thanks again for sharing this.
We have an older septic system and there is a spot in our back yard, close to the hose, that stays semi damp and sometimes very wet. Is this something to consider for that area?
