This is an easy way to make a decorative candle using materials from the Dollar Tree! I've wanted to make one of these for years, and when I finally did make it, I was extremely happy about the outcome. The possibilities are endless when you use different shaped glass containers & colors!
This project costs under $10.00 to make. Most of the supplies I had on hand. The only things purchased were a glass container & some flat backed, frosted glass scatter gems.
All you need is a glass container that will hold a candle, some hot glue & glue gun, some clear glue (I used Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue) and some glitter!
It took me under an hour to make this, mostly because I took my time so I wouldn't get burned from the hot glue.
1. use hot glue to glue the gems to the glass container, one row at a time, starting at the bottom & working your way to the top.
2. use clear glue to the top & rim of the glass container
3. sprinkle glitter to the clear glue
4. add a votive candle & enjoy!

Finished Scatter Candle in daylight. By changing up the container & colors, the decorating possibilities are endless.
This is the Scatter Candle at night. I love the way the spaces between the gems make 'dancing' designs on your table & walls.
