KMS Woodworks on May 09, 2013I have rebuilt mine a few times in the 20 plus years I have been in my home. These blinds have two stands of fine cord that can run independent of each other. The most common cause of the uneven drop is due to twisting in the cords. with the blinds up pull the plastic "cap" up from the end of the pair of cords and separate them. If they are knotted together untie them or cut off the knot. This will allow each stand to un-twist. I like to "rake" the cords with my fingers to help get the twists out. once the cords are free and not twisted you can re-tie the knot and slip the cap back down.Helpful Reply
