It has been said that kitchens are the selling point of a house because it is sort of like hang out place in a sense.

This is my kitchen; it is about the size of two port-a-potties fused together. I recently primed the cabinets because they were a dark stained wood color. I will upload more pictures, if there are responses. I am looking for thoughts on how to make my kitchen more open feeling. Feel free to ask questions and leave comments/offer suggestions--thanks!

Karen on Aug 29, 2015My opinion is the opposite of the others. Leave the cupboard doors on to hide the contents. If you want the small kitchen to look cluttered, take the doors off. I definitely would put a lacey valance on the window--to make it look "homey" and a small plant in the window to give the kitchen some "life". It is a small kitchen but it is, what it is. Its not a magazine layout--if it were my kitchen, it has to be a working and functional kitchen so I'd not worry about tools on the walls.
