DIY Trash to Treasure Tables

I found some broken director's chairs in the trash and made them into tables for my deck.
I found these mis-matched director's chairs in the trash. The backs of them were broken, so we removed them and cut down some Ikea bed slats (also found in the trash) to fit over the top. The slats were secured with some screws.
I used a Rust-oleum paint primer to paint the tables. I was going to add a finish coat of yellow, but I really liked the grey color of the primer. I ended up sealing them with a clear varnish instead of paint.
I love how useful these tables are on our deck. They are great for entertaining. The best part is that they didn't cost me a cent!
