A True Trash to Lovely Treasure

My mother actually found this little table in the trash at her condo. It was in bits and pieces and a dog had chewed up part of one leg. However, she saw its potential and gave it to me to bring it back to life.
Here is how it came to me - poor thing :)
The leg had broken off and the rest was not in the best of shape.
It was nothing that a little wood glue and putty couldn't fix.
Here is the table now - quite a little treasure.
The shape of its top is lovely.
More on the paint color and gold gilding wax on the blog - such a pretty blue!
The leg is as good as new and completely sturdy.
One more closeup of the pretty blue and gold :) I have a video tutorial in the blog post on how to apply the gold gilding wax.
I love a good before and after! I am sure my mother will as well - it's all hers!
