Douglas Hunt on Mar 06, 2012Also check out this excellent brochure from the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service on "Landscaping for Wildlife with Native Plants." It lists everything from perennials through large trees and gives soil moisture and light requirements as well as wildlife value. There is also a list of sources (other than dumpsters). http://www.ncsu.edu/goingnative/ag636_03.pdfHelpful Reply
