Piano Black Sprayed Finish
This staircase was originally painted in a flat black, with a lot of damage to the wood. We sanded, patched, sanded, and sprayed a high gloss black finish on risers, trim & archways....
Completed risers in high gloss "piano black" finish.
Prep work is tedious, but worth the end result!
Grand staircase - love the way it loops through the whole foyer.

Looks great. Takes real skill to spray such a dense colour without overspray,misting, etc.
