Repairing painted resin coated kitchen counters
-
KatAych on Mar 07, 2016Hello! Sounds like they didn't properly seal around the sink. You can sand the resin off from around the sink, but it'll definitely show. Typically, resins don't "feather" well, and you can always tell when part of it has been poured on top of dried resin...so, you can sand the entire thing and start over, or fill in the part by the sink, protect it with a sealant this time, and do some other kind of covering (they make a special contact-type paper that also looks like granite you might try), or just repaint it.Helpful Reply
