Repurposed Tealight Tree Into Flower Art

I love flowers in any way, shape, or form... and I especially love to make flowers out of repurposed things.
It's so much fun to turn something into something completely different.
When I saw this tealight tree in the thrift store a few weeks ago I was very excited because I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.

I love it when that happens, and it doesn't happen all the time.
The best thing about the stand thingy was that it came apart.
This chicken wire and fabric frame used to be in my craft room until I replaced it with the my goblet storage shelves. It's been in the greenhouse waiting to be reused.
I removed the staples with a screwdriver and put the fabric away. It can always be used for another project some day.
I found some thrifted natural burlap in my stash. I measured the size I needed and marked it with a Sharpie.
After I cut the burlap I stapled it in place with my staple gun, making sure to start in the middle of each side and work my way out so that it's just tight enough all the way around... but not too tight or it might pull on the burlap too much.
Here it is all stapled.
Here it is hanging up.
I found the metal wall pocket in my stash and I glued some jute twine to it with my glue gun.
Here's what's I'm adding to my flowers.., some tart tins, and a mix of Christmas light reflectors. I used my glue gun for this too.
I used some of my faux pearl necklaces for stems. They're attached to the chicken wire with their clasps.

The wall pocket came with a hanger that I didn't need, so I removed it and bent it into the two leaves. I just sort of fed them through the chicken wire and they're hanging on.
Here's a peek at the back of the largest flower to show you that it's hanging on the chicken wire using a paper clip
And to give you an idea of how large it is here it is in the master bedroom.
I added some spanish moss to the inside of the wall pocket to finish it off.

These flowers make me smile and they remind me of summer in the gardens. They're just what I need to help me get through the rest of winter, which in my neck of the woods could be two weeks or two months. lol.
