is it ok to lay utility grade red oak in my house?

KMS Woodworks on Mar 10, 2012I actually prefer the look of "utility" grade...the knots and colors are far more exciting. Generally with this grade you need to add a bit more to your order to account for pieces that may be a bit too rustic...to install well. large voids or splits are more common. One of my all time fav's is rustic White oak....here the colors can be quite varied.Helpful Reply
