Easy
This is such a sweet way to re purpose the gift paper and ribbon as a sweet memento from your baby shower. I made this for my granddaughter.
All you need for this project is 2 Embroidery hoops of different sizes... Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, plastic string, ribbon and paper from baby shower.
I first took the blue and pink ribbon from baby shower and cut them into 6" strips.
I tied them around the 2 embroidery hoops. I then took 3 long ribbons to make as hanger and tied them on the bigger hoop. Then I took 3 smaller ribbons and tied from top larger hoop to smaller hoop. I let the smaller hoop hang about 4-5" below top hoop.
I cut out lots and lots of butterflies...Love this punch! After all butterflies were cut out, I hot glued a butterfly on each side of string and held a second then continued this all the way down. When finished you will have several strands of butterflies. And just because I wanted some sparkle....I took some round small mirrors from the Michaels and put them on some of the end of strands. I also found small plastic butterflies I put in the strands....these added sparkle
I tied each strand onto the hoops in between the ribbons. You can make this as long as you wish. I had to cut off some of the length because I made it too long for hanging over crib. I can't wait to bring it over to them!

What's great is you can make something like this with other materials for other rooms. For more detailed step by step tutorial, please go to my website: https://kelleysdiy.com/
