Jeannine Maranchuk on May 14, 2013I have used Cayenne pepper for years. Even with cats & children around. I just reapply after every rain. Within weeks they have moved on. The other is a borax & icing sugar mixture. I found that way to expensive. Just sprinkle wherever you have ants & they will move on.Helpful Reply

Stacy on May 16, 2013Boric acid mixed with any sweet liquid. Put in small bottle lids and place in areas where pets cannot reach. Scatter around area. The best spray I have found is called Home Defense. I bought it at Lowe's. it lasts about a month. Spray the whole area and borders. Also, "Terro" brand ant bait works really well.Helpful Reply
