Sia@South 47th on May 15, 2013Hi! You may want to try printing the Chevron Pattern and colour you're going for out on your computer. Then hit the Art store for some 'heavy' art paper. One more trip and that is to your local Printer. They'll do a run on the paper size you want, with the pattern/colour you've selected. Also, some Art Stores will do this as well on a lightweight canvas, you can then mod podge it on, so when you tire of it you can just easily take it down, without ruining your paint job. Can't wait to see the finished project! xoHelpful Reply

Crafty Texas Girls on May 15, 2013What about using fabric? You could Mod Podge it into your dresser. Lots of cute chevron prints on fabric.com. (Or chevron wrapping paper or chevron scrapbook paper would work too! )Helpful Reply

Sia@South 47th on May 15, 2013Or, you know you could always Paint the Chevron Pattern directly on the piece. It's time consuming tho'. I like Crafty Texas Girls idea as well. Mainly because I'm a Frugal Fanatic and that idea is pretty doggone Frugal! xoHelpful Reply

Em Hooper on May 17, 2013Call all the Habitat ReStores in your area. (They have a website national directory)Last week one about 50 miles from here had a big new selection of wallpaper. Right on the top of the rack were a couple of rolls of B&W striped paper in one inch wide stripes. PERFECT lining for the black chest I'm now painting. You never know what you will find at ReStore.Helpful Reply

Rose McDonald on Jul 05, 2014@Liz@Aqua Elephant. You could buy a striped wallpaper and cut it diagonally. You could also make a patterned chevron the same way. I did this with an old corner cabinet years ago It looked great.. BTW, I like your site. Lots of good ideas.Helpful Reply
