How to Hide Cords for $1

I hate cords. No matter how many methods I’ve used to hide cords, they always end up a jumbled mess, especially the ones behind the TV. I’ve used the clear Command strips in the past to hide cords along the back of a table or shelf, but then I usually forget I did that and when I move the table, I break all the hooks. Whoops.
For our new TV stand, I originally placed the DVR player and cable box under the dresser, thinking that would help hide the cords. However, the dresser is a little higher off the ground than I anticipated so the cords still showed. Plus, the previous owners had a satellite dish so that cord is still coming out of the floor, even if we manage to organize/hide all the others. I need a solution to hide those pesky cords and not make them an eyesore.
At the Dollar Tree, I picked up a piece of foam core board to see what I could do with it. After cutting it in two long pieces, and cutting a hole for the DVD cords, I army-crawled under the dresser and popped these two bad boys in. I was able to wedge them just-so between the legs of the dresser and cover up the cords.
I also took two baskets I had on the old TV stand and popped those in for a little more camouflage – and more storage never hurts anyone! This worked amazingly well. The white looks like it’s the baseboard and they are easy to move if I ever do need to access the back.
Pretty good fix for a $1, am I right?
