When Pigs Don't Fly (..a Mini Foyer Makeover)

I have always found it amazing that a small item, such as a small white ceramic pig, can spark one's creative juices and be the inspiration for a whole new space. This cute little fella was spotted recently at Marshall's and made his way into my cart and into my heart. (hey that rhymes!) This is how the little pig and a new gothic-style cathedral mirror transformed one side of my foyer.
Tucked back amongst a bunch of Pigs with Wings was this one little "wingless" fella. I prefered him!
A new blue glass pitcher is overflowing with garden cuttings and fragrant honesysuckle blossoms.
The mirror is tall, but is perfect with the 10' ceilings.
My home smells amazing right now....
This old chest has the greatest patina I have ever seen.
I love these old handles.
Hello, little fella.
