New roof:)

I have been away for awhile but don't you worry it has been anything but quiet around here!

We had the original wood shakes on the roof along with 3 layers of asphalt shingles. I was surprised to see slats under all layers.

Looks really nice. Yeah, I was working from home when my roof was replaced. Pretty noisy.

Thanks guys!! Fiadra- thank you:) we just fell in love with the old charm of this 1912 home. Nothing beats the craftmanship and quality of homes built 100 years ago!:) plus it didn't hurt that the price was under 60k either:) a few thousands into the house and we've more than doubled our equity! It's my dream home...after new siding and a new kitchen;)
