Kitchen Cabinet Tile

Recently I did my first tile job by myself on my kitchen cabinet. I have been collecting tile off of Craig's list and i finally decided to recover the counters. here is the before and after shots. The prep work is sanding the surfaces to make the mastic stick. Lay out your pattern first and cut all tile and re fit to where they will be placed on the cabinet. Set the tile with mastic let dry for a few days. Continue by putting the grout in the cracks.Let stand for 20 minutes and wipe with a sponge, then with a soft towel to remove all the residue. After 48 hours seal with sealer. I still need to finish the wall behind the stove with tile.
Before the sink was a mess.
This is the small counter beside the stove
This is beside the sink the longer counter.
The sink is so nice now
Small counter
The long counter, I keep a cutting board in the front of the microwave.
After I love my new kitchen counters!
