Kitchen Renovation Reveal

There are vintage kitchens that are filled with quirky charm, and then there was OUR vintage kitchen.
We lived with our original 1955 kitchen for two full years before embarking on a complete kitchen renovation.
It came complete with yellow-ish tile countertops (chipped in some areas!), wallpaper that was peeling off the walls, dingy linoleum floors, cabinets that were on its last leg, and appliances that were NOT working!
What's the point of having double wall ovens if they don't work?!
We did spruce up the kitchen a bit before we moved in two years ago. Living in the old kitchen all this time allowed us to really evaluate the flow, and help determine our kitchen priorities.
Here's a peek at the end result! My hubby actually tiled the backsplash himself. You'd never guess it was his first DIY tiling project!
Living with a dated, non-functioning kitchen for two full years, followed by living through a gut kitchen renovation for another several months, was not easy. But the process was totally worth getting to this point! I love our new kitchen. :)
