Henredon Mini Bar W/ DIY Lucite Hardware

Hello all! This piece was so boring, and the makeover, so fabulous, that I had to share. Below, you'll see a boring, blocky piece of furniture and the hardware wasn't anything special either.
99% of my projects keep their original hardware, but I knew right away that this piece needed something special to take it up a notch.
One of my favorite bloggers, Grace Mitchell, at A Storied Style built some beautiful hardware for her kitchen using brass pipe clips (not exactly like the ones I bought, but similar).
....And 1/2 inch Acrylic rods from Nationwide Plastics in Dallas. She kindly did the legwork and shared these sources with us on her blog. Check her out! I decided I wanted to use these same sources to glam up this little dresser.
And that's exactly what I did!
Each pull cost about $21 (all sources linked to on my blog).
The paint I used is SW ProClassic in "Blushing." I topcoated with @GeneralFinishes High Performance Poly in Gloss.
Enjoyed the project?
