Grasshoppers are eating our garden up
-
Douglas Hunt on May 22, 2013I feel your pain, Annie. We have giant lubber grasshoppers in Florida that can do a lot of damage in short order. There's little you can do once they get full size, other than individually dispatching them, but there are insecticides that are effective when they are younger. Texas A&M has the scoop on grasshoppers and their control here: https://agrilifebookstore.org/tmppdfs/viewpdf_927_32474.pdf?CFID=6457987&CFTOKEN=8b7e697a9e8ab4c-CC49C326-E4D3-FE49-027FC3EE9B0E1BE8&jsessionid=e43049afb4a3d3a6bb94144235542683f383Helpful Reply

Sue Kopp on May 22, 2013Seems like they absolutely LOVE the NOLO, Annie. Over here at Pottsville, the Nolo absolutely had a festival when we applied it. They went even crazier. Must have been like crack to them. ha.Helpful Reply
