Yes you can paint laminate with the proper prep. You must lightly sand them and clean off any residue left. A good primer is also required followed by a paint specifically for bathroom vanities and then seal making sure you do not use a poly that will yellow.

Yes you can.....I just got through with a similar project where I stained instead of painting my kitchen cabinets. You will need to sand to rough up the surface, this allows the paint/stain to adhere to the surface better.

Yes you can, but use a bonding primer. This makes sure your paint will not flake off. I would also use liquid sandpaper before the bonding primer.

Rustoleum do a kit for $150[Canadian] which contains everything you need plenty of colours to choose from and it is all low odour, we did our kitchen almost a year ago and we are still very happy with the result, it is very hard wearing and easy to clean.

Yes, they have paint for that. I suggest you use a primer first. Friend has done it twice.

Just lightly sand prime with zinnser (2 coats) paint with good ole laytex (3 coat) and seal with varathane wood floor sealer (satin uv prot) and you luv it!#
