I live in the desert, and I miss the flowering trees of a midwest spring. So I made my own flowering branches for a spring centerpiece!
Sticks and paper flowers, what could be easier?
I assembled a very standard floral arrangement, using artichokes from our garden, bells of Ireland (from my friend's garden), and white flowers I bought at Trader Joe's (hydrangea and freesia).
I used a small flower punch and plain printer paper to make my flower shapes, and shaded the centers a bit with a pink crayon.
Once the flowers were in the pot, it was time to add the branches.
The perfect finishing touch for my Easter centerpiece!
