SLS Construction & Building Solutions LLC on May 25, 2013One trick for fruit flies which should work with regular ones is to "vinegar traps; simply fill a bottle, jar or plastic baggie with a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and a piece of old fruit or meat; make a paper funnel with the big end outside and the smallest end taped inside the bottle/jar/etc. Flies come in but they can't get out." for this & dealing with some other pesky critters: http://blog.sls-construction.com/category/safety/pesky-crittersHelpful Reply

Jeanette S on May 25, 2013You can actually cut a large plastic soft drink bottle in half, put SLS's "stuff" in the bottom, invert top into bottle, tape with duct tape and sit on porch. When you want to sit outside, plug in a box fan to keep away all flying bugs!Helpful Reply
