Isn't it funny how some little thing will remind you of something you though was long forgotten? I saw that picture of the little frog and that popped into mind. I have tried for years to write down the finny, interesting and significant things that happened in my families life. The idea was born in me when I was doing a lot of genealogy research and all I could find was the things that I could glean from letters that had been saved through generations and often that wasn't a lot. It was mostly names and some places. How I wanted to have the stories behind the names. So my hope is that to future generations, they will have at least a few stories of the lives of some of those who have gone before. That is what Laura Ingles left behind that is still enjoyed today!
