Adding Interest to Uninteresting Outdoor Cushions

My adirondack chairs are not very comfortable without a cushion, but if the cushion is too thick, they are not right either. I purchased these thin outdoor dining chair replacement cushions that work perfectly for comfort but are very blah.
I wrapped the old cushions in burlap and wrapped them like a present. I used safety pins to secure the burlap.
I added a rooster graphics (Graphics Fairy's Blog) transfer onto muslin.
