Number Chest

I found this adorable but very simple black chest at my favorite thrift shop. I pulled out and repaired the minor damage on the drawers, and then painted the body of the chest grey.
On my computer I generated some great looking number labels and printed them out on kraft card-stock. I cut them out and glued them to the front of the chest and then clear coated the entire drawer front with clear water-based polyurethane. I distressed and waxed the chest and reinserted the drawers.
How cute would this be in a child's room who was learning his numbers? Socks in "1", underwear in "2"...
