Making a Fabulous Cake Platter With Shells, Hot Glue, and Gold Paint.

Nothing screams fabulous more then golden shells! That is why I covered my generic cake platter with shells and sprayed the whole thing with gold spray paint. Be sure to cover with another coat of clear sealer to help it last longer. And of course, use wax paper or parchment paper under your cake because although this looks fab...it's not terribly dishwasher friendly.
A cake stand covered in golden shells is a step above the norm!
