LouAnne S on Apr 20, 2012The Salsify is it I think. I've never seen this plant before and I kind of like it. I think I'll let it live where it was uncovered. Shows to go ya what you'll find after 28 yrs of neglect! Also found 2 redwood trees about 2 ft. high and a little on about 4" high. Potting those up. In addition we found a 3 ft. high oak tree! This has been a real adventure. Wonder what else we'll find....Thanks all!Helpful Reply

Kara K on Apr 20, 2012Are the leaves at ground level thin, narrow ones lik at the top of the plant or ar they more like dandelion leaves with jagged edges? If they're smooth, it's salsify. If dandelion like it's chicory.Helpful Reply
