Janet Pizaro on Apr 23, 2016It may be your soil.Magnolia trees need acidity of about 4.5%. I would have your soil tested and amend according to the reading.Helpful Reply

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Apr 23, 2016The biggest thing is that the tree has not reached its maturity! A southern magnolia blooms after 10 years and up to 15. If the leaves are light green and not dark green then you will need to worry about soil but if it is growing and looks healthy do not worry- the tree is just young.Helpful Reply
