Was this real wood? I just did something like this to my TV stand but the paint keeps chipping away.. Any ideas? Thanks! It looks great btw!

@Angaleen - Thanks! And no, it was definitely not real wood. Not sure what I did but it did not chip! I sanded before I painted, which probably helps. I explain a little more on my blog post listed too. Hope that help a little!!
