This has got to be more fun and more economical that slip covering or reupholstering my $25 BooKoo recliner find! It's the most comfy chair in the world, and it is solid, but it's...purple. And velvet. It's PURPLE VELVET! And I love purple, but NOT in my wedgewood blue livingroom! I've been saving to either reupholster or slipcover it, but now I'm going to use that money and PAINT!

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Doesn't the paint get stiff. My M.I.Law painted a chair and the material turned like a plastic feeling.?????
Will this rub off on my clothes when I sit on it?
Does the paint cause the fibers in the velvet to bunch together and get hard?
