made this window box for the top, not sure if i like it!! and the kitchen/ dining rm window looks too busy.

    Looks good, but the business of the kitchen window is a bit much. Depends on your style. Could take down the planters to open it up a bit more.

    Also after looking back at the picture, if you like lights there you could go with just a single strand or do small accent lights.

    My thought , I try it different ways, let it up for a few days, look at it then decide from there. My house is always in a change state, never finished.
