Giving an Icebox a New Color Makeover for Our Summer Porch

1.4K Views
It's not a real icebox it's just a replica. It wouldn't be worth the time to strip and refinish since it's just cheaply made and not quality wood. But it was perfect for our front porch once we gave it a makeover with a fun, cheerful color...

@Alexandra Arena I thouroughly enjoyed sipping my first glass of strawberry lemonade out there yesterday evening. And it's Sadie's (dog) new favorite spot too :)

Love it! Quick question, did you remove the brass plate and hinges? (if not, tape them off?) Highly curious. Thanks!

@Gretta Frick Thanks! Yes, I did remove the brass pieces...just a quick whirl of the cordless screwdriver and they were off. They had a perfectly aged patina so I did not want to mess with them!
