That is so amazing! I LOVE it! Her blog is full of great ideas and she's so fun to read! I am thinking of doing this on my back patio. -
I actually have something to WOW! about. Awesome job and great idea, thanks for sharing. -
Makes my back hurt to think of bending over to paint that, so maybe she can come to my house and paint an awesome *rug* for me. -
Love this! -

Thanks Pam D. I just love Hometalk, so many, many helpful people. And they are actually reading and are right there with the answer. GREAT, Thank you! :-) -
I painted one last year.....you can my pictures, and it held up to the elements and traffic beautifully. What a wonderful job Linda. -
To those who have concrete and want to pain a rug patern, I found this how to this morning. Go to this site for instructions: http://www.bhg.com/decorating/paint/projects... -
i love this !! -
I totally love this idea! -
Question whats the name of the paint you used? I love this ideal. -
May have to try this... -
I became inspired - and bought an outdoor rug. That worked better for me since my floor is brick pavers, and not too even at that. -
I love this. I have always wanted to "paint" a rug. I had seen a painted porch , a solid hue, on Jeanette S page, this takes it a step further into what I would like to do in a room in my house that has old wood floors covered by a rug. Great inspiration! -
Love it! Now if I can just get brave enough to try it. -
Annette -- it's just paint ... if you don't like it you can easily slather a coat of solid over it ... :) -
Any brand to paint the concrete?? i want to paint mine in my back yard...i really love your pattern i will probably copy it .. thanks for the inspiration.. -
Your welcome Maria! Mine is painted on wood so I just used porch paint. I would ask the folks at the hardware store for recommendations ... -
Wow, that is really awesome idea. I never would have thought of it, but it'd be great to cover up my porch repair in Chicago IL. -
I have been thinking to do this on both front and back porch but have not figured out how to keep the cat and dog out of it till it drys.. -
Su you could just contain the pets in the house for 6 hours or so...that would be enough time for the paint to "set" and by the next day it would be ready for traffic. -
I love this look! I once painted a rug on my concrete porch... it's since been painted over, but is in need of a new coat... think I'm going to try again painting a rug. Thanks for sharing. Yours looks beautiful! -
I've been looking to buy an outdoor rug for my back patio, but this is a great idea and I will save a lot of money. Thank you.
