Venna Juve G on Apr 30, 2012Thanks for the answers, but I'm still hoping for more ideas. This property has them in the landscaped area among the plants, I have used the round-up, only got a few only to come back with more, they brought thier families with them, so digging is out of the question.Helpful Reply

Venna Juve G on May 03, 2012Thanks for the answers, but I'm still hoping for more ideas. This is one thing I know, if you simply pull it off you just prunned it the horstail will grow back thicker, as for digging, Id be digging into the root systems of the plants that are there, Have tryed the round-up, it worked so so, Turflawn worked better, it is just a difficult landscape to spray on, on a river and we have a wind factor,Helpful Reply

Vernice Darnley on May 12, 2016The only thing we have found effective is to pull up whe weed by hand and then burn it. Don't compost or leave to throw away later but burn immediately. It takes time but eventually this method works and you haven't poisoned your land.Helpful Reply
