John J on Jun 12, 2013Hi Fellow 'John' I found this information regarding your problem with Algae : http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Rid-of-Algae-in-Ponds also another method is straw in a netted vegetable bag tie off and throw into the pond in Spring then when the straw turns black get rid of it. Wendy B on Jun 16, 2013I had green water so thick I thought it was hopeless but felt afraid of the additives because I LOVE my fish! I finally opted for a couple tiny, inexpensive bales of barley straw. 2 weeks later I thought it was wasted money, but was told to give it a month. Not quite a month into and I have to tell you, the water is crystal clear! Absolutely perfect! I am in shock and just wanted to share that with you! Best of luck!Helpful Reply
