Foam Board Chandelier

This beautiful and inexpensive DIY chandelier is made from $3 foam board. It makes a wonderful accent to any room. We've got a free pattern in two sizes on our site. You can hang it as is or add a little bling.
SUPPLIES

Foam board Get a good quality foam board as cheaper types will not paint well.

Utility knife

Hot glue gun

Paint of choice (We used gray paint though not this exact shade.)

Rub N Buff (optional. We used silver Rub N Buff.)

1/4 dowel This 12 size will work for both sizes of chandeliers

Screw eyelet for hanging

Bling of choice.

Free Pattern Here
Print and cut out the pattern from our site. Trace four pieces onto foam board.
Cut each piece out carefully with a knife.
Take a few minutes to clean up the edges.
Paint with a light coat of paint. (If you use cheap foam board heavy paint can make the paper ripple.)
We used light strokes of rub n buff silver over our grey paint.
Paint your dowel.
Place an screw eyelet on top of the dowel for hanging.
Glue pieces on carefully as shown. MORE PHOTOS AND DETAILS ON OUR SITE)
Glue all four pieces onto the dowel.
Add bling if desired. We used some clear plastic tear drops. Pattern and more photos and details at link below!
