Walter Reeves on May 02, 2012Wouldn't it just be stress for trying to regrow new roots? If you keep the soil evenly moist this summer it should turn back deep green.Helpful Reply

360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on May 02, 2012How long ago did you transplant it? How big is it and were you able to get a good root ball? Did it start going down hill after that last cold snap that we had?Helpful Reply

Douglas Hunt on May 03, 2012I think it's trying to get re-established so can't put any energy into putting out new foliage.Helpful Reply

Sandra R on May 03, 2012Give it some time to re-establish itself. Boxwoods are generally hardy but it will take time for the roots to establish themselves. A mild fertilizer wouldn't hurt, but not full strength. Also make sure it's watered well so all the air pockets in the ground surrounding the roots are vacated.Helpful Reply
