Making Accessories Work

Easy
I've been working on my dining room and I found several fun decorations for a featured wall; however, I just needed a couple more items and didn't want to spend the money for them.
I ended up spotting an old colander that was starting to rust and the paint was chipping off. So, I really wasn't using it anyway. So, here's what I did...
You can see here that I can no longer hide the fact that it is getting old and worn out.

I really liked the original color, but my decor has changed and it was in pretty bad shape.
I liked the chrome edges, so I taped over those.
I used Rust-Oleum Painters Touch Ultra Cover Paint+Primer Gloss (white) spray paint to paint the colander.
And here it is! I love the pop of white it brings! Exactly what I was hoping for!

I can't wait to show you the entire dining room makeover (coming soon)!
