Liliana Wells on May 22, 2016I have planted Holly Hocks only once. They were doing very well and then their beautiful large leaves started breaking out in blisters. I consulted my local extension office only to told they had a fungus which eventually killed the whole plant(s). I don't know what part of the country you are; but disease maybe once reason. Or it could be the soil. Check with your local extension office.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on May 22, 2016@Kathleen L. Brantley Plants in the right place excel. Maybe they need food, water, sun, no sun, certain food or no food or some bug loves them more. I can't judge because I live in Florida. I do know one thing: If you do everything you read is helpful and your plants still want to die - find another plant to love.Helpful Reply
