Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on May 11, 2012You will need to wire brush it off. If its saturated into the cement, then you will need to use a cement grinder. These can be purchased for hand held grinders at your big box stores for around $30. Keep it moving in large circles so you do not grind a hole into the cement. Check before you do this after the wire brush with some water in a spray bottle. If the water soaks in evenly where the glue was removed, your good to go. If the water puddles the glue is still there. There are chemicals that will remove this material, but most may be too harmful to use and can be costly to dispose of. Call Elmers hot line number, it should be on bottle they may have a solution for you that may be even easier then wire brush method.Helpful Reply

KMS Woodworks on May 12, 2012sanding / or grinding would be the best...the trick is to provide a "uniform" finish so the staining process will look consistent over the entire floor. "spot" work may still look like spots.Helpful Reply
