Anthurium - Finally a Flowering Indoor Plant That Loves Low Light!

I don't grow many indoor plants. I used to when I lived in Maine, but now that I live in a more temperate climate, I stick to flowers and vegetables outside.
But every once in a while, when I got to the garden center, I find (and bring home) an indoor plant. Such was the case with this pretty Anthurium.
Much to my delight, anthuriums love low light! They have a leaf like red flower and stalk that rises above the plant and I have it in a north Facing window and it does beautifully.
It is easy to grow. Just keep it evenly moist. I wait until it is dry down about to my first knuckle and then water again. Spray it a bit from time to time on the leaves which helps with humidity and add a bit of fertilizer when you think of it. (I haven't fertilized mine in months and it is as pretty as the day I bought it.
