Hey! Just got done refinishing a buffet and wanted to share it with you!
I always start by cleaning and sanding, lightly! Next, I painted it haphazardly with a coat of white chalk paint. Followed by a coat of Waverly chalk paint in "Mineral" I dry brushed the white on to create a texture. Using the brown color in Unicorn Spit, Rustic Reality, I hand painted the darker tones around the corners and raised edges to give it some depth.

Inside I wanted to create something fun! I used a chalk paint base in pink, then painted on some of the blues from Unicorn SPiT collection inside. For the doors and shelf, I used a metallic silver. I took that metallic paint and then went over the blues, to give it a sheen. Added a cute little stencil...
Sealed the base in wax and top in couple coats of polycrylic
I decided not to put on the plate behind the pulls. It was too ornate for what I was going for.
