The perfect farm table done my way.
When this Gal asked me to redo this 4 foot x 4 foot dining table into something her husband (a cattle farmer) would love. I did this !

A lot of sanding is how this project started. I love this palm sander .
After sanding we removed the legs and added two coats of primer sanding in between coats to achieve a smooth surface for painting.
Sketching the design on was so fun. Keep in mind the client still has no clue what design I came up with. After I was happy with the layout I painted the background.
This is where this little guy starts to come to life. What a fun project!
After this piece was complete I added several layers Polyurethane which need to be dried and sanded in between coats to achieve a smooth surface. The poly also really brings out the details. Oil based Polyurethane is much more durable than water base, so I always use it on flat surfaces.
Yep this Guy loves his perfect Farm Table ..
