Do you love Pottery Barn style but don't like the Pottery Barn price tag? I am with you. Today, I am going to share how I made a Pottery Barn Cubby Knock-Off In 20 Minutes.
This project started with this piece I found at Restore. It was broken in pieces, but I knew I could make it over into a cubby that I loved from an old Pottery Barn catalog.
I took the trim pieces off this cubby and removed all the shelves.
We cut some thin plywood to replace the broken shelves. Then, I sprayed the entire piece white (see my favorite tool to use for this part in my blog post).
I put all the shelves back in, replaced the trim and used my sander to rough it up around the edges.
This piece can be used for so many different things. A piece like this is fun to decorate and redecorate whenever inspiration strikes.
Enjoyed the project?
