Rebouchage on May 30, 2016My cat is called Ducky—it's a long story why. I have made her her own poop deck which is a plastic storage box (22l x14w x17h) with a tight lid and I have cut a cat sized hole in one end so she can get in it whenever she wants to. It keeps the odours down to almost nothing, and it is so easy to clean. I'm sorry that I can't show you a picture, simply because I don't have either a smart phone or a digital camera handy. Yes! I'm still living in the stone age, but happy doing it.Helpful Reply

Rickey Ratliff on May 30, 2016Sassy Sue. I made here a sterling silver ID tag in the shape of a cat. Her name is cut in the front and my phone number is stamped on the back. I also included a nice little sleeping beauty turquoise stone on the front. She was missing for 10 weeks one Bitter cold winter. Someone finally found her several miles from home and called me. I think she was very happy to be home and back in a nice warm house.Helpful Reply

Val on May 30, 2016I bought a wood cabinet, sanded, painted and cut out a hole the shape of a cat's head with a jig saw to make this hidden litter box cabinet. The only thing I would do differently is to use polyurethane on the inside to keep moisture away. I have shelf lining there. I should add that my oldest cat at 18 was "going" where he wasn't supposed to, so putting this where he was going stopped that. Now, he uses the box. There is a metallic gold under the lattice work in the front and it cost me under $45.00 to make.Helpful Reply

Barb in Texas on May 30, 2016My last place had exposed rafters instead of a ceiling, so I made shelves on one wall that the cats could hop up to and get into the rafters. They could come down the same way, but they preferred to run across, jump onto my tall cabinet, and then onto the waterbed, usually while I was sleeping. They spent hours up there.Helpful Reply

Pamela Thomson on May 30, 2016I used a bought cat tree on one side and modified it by replacing a tube she didn't used with a platform she uses a lot. Using 2x4's, plywood pieces, 2x6 (top andfor the steps) and metal bracket and joiners all covered by carpet. Mystic (my pixie-bob) loves it, we placed it around the patio doors but with enough room for her to fit on the top. I added wider pieces af each end of the top so she could turn around or lay down on it easily.Helpful Reply
