Cheryl Gyles on May 27, 2016I think the easiest way would be to use the garden hose first to clean it out, use a spray bottle with bleach solution or ammonia, BUT NEVER USE THE TWO TOGETHER!, let it sit for a while then dump out. Leave the lid open until fairly dry. This should at least cut down on some or most of the leftover gunk and smell that attracts flies.Helpful Reply
